Marathon. 💻

So I just finished watching 2 films today, technically it was yesterday but I finished the 2nd film almost midnight already. This films were namely, “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Love, Rosie”. A friend of mine lend me her usb just for me to watch this films. Actually, dapat FSOG lang talaga yung film na papanuorin ko, but she has a copy of the other one and I haven’t watched it yet. Yeah, ako na ang huli sa balita.

Right after I went home, I went straight to our pc just to watched Fifty Shades of Grey. Who could ever resist Christian Grey, right? Curiosity is not the right term to describe why I would like to watch FSOG — or maybe it is. I don’t wanna be a spoiler or what to those who haven’t watched the film yet (wait a sec, am I the only one who haven’t watched it? lol) but once the film started and the music “I Put A Spell On You” by Annie Lennox started playing I can’t help but squeal out of excitement. Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) looking hot as hell with his suit and tie, I can’t help but fall for him. As the film goes on, I can’t help but fall for Christian Grey more, his actions speaks more of love than lust. I haven’t read the 2nd book, Fifty Shades of Darker, but knowing I have a friend which is a certified spoiler, she spilled some to me lol. I so love her, not. 😑

In my own opinion regarding the film, I don’t find it that offensive whatsoever. And the story does not center to lust ‘cause I heard some of those so-called-”critics” stated that it is. I don’t agree that this is an abuse to women, not unless without her consent. I have read some articles regarding BDSM when I read the first book. Honestly, at first I thought it was offensive, unrightful, aggressive to the women but seriously, it’s up to you on what is your outlook regarding it. I think I’m not making any sense here haha Bangag ako as ever. 😂

I totally agree with Dakota Johnson’s statement here 👍👌: “I’m proud of [the movie]. I completely disagree with people who think Ana’s weak. I think she’s actually stronger than he is. Everything she does is her choice. And if I can be an advocate for women to do what they want to do with their bodies and not be ashamed of what they want, then I’m all for that.” Because in the end, we own our body and we have the right what to do with it. We are the one who will face the consequence of our decision in the future.

And lastly, the film doesn’t really suit the R-18 rating, ‘cause it’s not really an R-18 film. Yeah, there are these stuffs and all, but it’s not porn or what, more like an eye-opener or something? I don’t know lol.

Can I just say Congratulations to Jamie Dornan for being named as The Hottest Hunk in 2015 by Heat Magazine beating last year’s winner Zac Efron into second place. Hoho 😍😙💋💓

Next up, Love, Rosie. My cousin spilled some to me in the film. Yeay, I love spoilers not. (Why do I have this circle of people who likes to spoil me things? lol) I really wouldn’t watched the film if it is just because of my friend who has copy of this like what I had said above. (Yea, paulit-ulit nalang ako.. ugh) So when I saw that she had a copy of this one, I decided to watch the film right after FSOG. And the film has both, comedy, drama and romance on it. But seriously, when the film started it was some sort of a comedy-teen fic film ‘cause when I watched its trailer long time I thought it was but I was totally wrong. It’s a love story of a guy and girl “best friends”. Alex’s action says that he loves Rosie more than a friend, but Rosie on the other hand just saw him as a best friend — or more likely, that she is just indenial of what she really feels towards him. Seriously, ang stupid lang. Kung gusto mo yung isang tao, you should exert a lot of effort para lang mapansin niya yung nararamdaman mo. Don’t let yourself be friendzoned. Gumawa ka ng paraan, don’t do rebounds kasi mas lalaki/gugulo lang yung problema, and mas lalo kang maguguluhan sa tunay mong nararamdaman. (O-kay, parang may whogoat ako dun hahaha) Y.O.L.O nga diba? Hahaha 😂🙆
