How to make #goals: 

1. Don’t make too many. 
Have a few you’re really serious about and take it day by day.  Focus on it, work on it, be patient with it, and enjoy the process. Every little step counts and day by day, you will get there. Having just a few will make sure you won’t get overwhelmed or distracted. Remember it doesn’t have to be hard!

2. Make them realistic.
This year, focus on short-term goals that are totally doable. Big tasks, and lots of them, can get in the way of getting anything done at all.  Also, ensuring they’re realistic can give you that confidence boost you deserve when you see them through. It’s all about building yourself up after all isn’t it?

3. Do it for you.
Every day is a chance for you to be the person you want to be. Make sure your goals are what you want for your best self. You should get excited over these! Inspired. Help bring back the life in you. We can all use a little more purpose and drive.

Some concrete #goals: 

1. Read 10 books for leisure this year.
2. Take an online class to learn a new skill.
3. Squeeze in a workout 3 times a week.
4. Leave Sunday as a technology-free day. 
5. Spend $____ a month. 
6. Volunteer at least once every season.
7. Call your family every few weeks.
8. Meditate for 5 minutes before you get out of bed every day.
9. Write in a journal every week. 
10. Practice gratitude each night.

It’s a good life. And you get to live it.
